I am the Dra. Teresita Pannaci
Specialist in craniofacial malformations and in the comprehensive treatment of patients with cleft lip and palate (FLP). For more than three decades I have dedicated my clinical practice, teaching and research to the functional approach of these malformations, developing personalized therapeutic strategies from birth to adulthood.

Work with families from prenatal diagnosis to postoperative follow -up, making sure that Each stage of treatment is understandable, accessible and effective.
I firmly believe in the Continuous training and in the Importance of sharing knowledge. Therefore, also part of my time to train other professionals so that more people can access quality treatments.

Dentistry is much more than a profession for me; It is one deeply rooted vocation that combines science, Art and humanity. Throughout my career, I have learned that each patient, Each family, Each story is unique, And that uniqueness is what gives meaning to my daily work.
What motivates me most in my work is the possibility of positively impact the lives of patients and their families. From helping a baby to feed for the first time to train a professional to perform specialized treatment, My purpose is always the same: improve lives.

- List itemSpecialized training in the comprehensive approach to cleft patients, from 1991 -postgraduate commission from the Central University of Venezuela to advanced training in Nasoalveolar Molding (NAM) with Dr. Barry Grayson in NYU Langone, New York -2013.

- Clinical Advisor at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, Barcelona.
- Professor at the European Dental Institute, Barcelona.
- Medical Advisor at the School of Mechanical Engineering of the International University of Valencia.
Notable contributions
- Author of the functional preoperative technique -PSIO for the treatment of lip and palate clefts.
- Founding Member of Operation Smile Venezuela and active collaborator with Operation Smile since 1993.
- La Femme Kiotis Distinction awarded by Stanhome World (Paris) in recognition of his uninterrupted volunteer work at the Fundación Operación Sonrisa Venezuela since 1998.
- Awarded the Claudia Sánchez Carías Award for Excellence in Dentistry (2018) for her outstanding career as a volunteer and specialist in the treatment of craniofacial malformations since 1993 an Operation Smile, Norfolk, Virginia (EE. UU.).
